Im standin by what I said.....Dre should quit while hes ahead......but I have come to the realizatiojn that he is the greatest thing to ever happen to the hiphop world, heres why.......Think of all the talent hes discovered:
Snoop
Game
Eminem
And if I'm not mistaken he was part of the reason Pac was so big
Not To metion Ez E
d.o.c.
and he was in NWA.

Dre is the shit but I've lost a lot of respect for him because I just found out he doesnt write his own lyrics...hes got a team of ghostwriters...consequently I know this post is about dre but Nas also doesnt write all of his own lyrics...his shit is also primarily written by ghostwriters

You cant sit there and say that Dre doesnt write atleast SOME of his own shit. am I right? exspecially if ya dont have a source. and Nyne has a great point. Pac, Eminem, Snoop, NWA, all of them are great hiphop icons and dre was the man that discovered them. Think of it this way...If dre never found Eminem, than this forum would have never of happened.

You just found that out? Its been pretty apparant for a while. Anyways Dre's not known for lyrics anyway, its his beats that hes known for.

giv me a shred of evidence, or a source

My source is the guy who mixed Dre's, bustas, nas's, faith evans, guerilla blacks, and the game's cds. Hes a sound engineer who worked at one of the studios Aftermath records at in California. I know him personally so I know he isnt lying plain and simple.

with that said em doesnt write his own shit my sources come from a janitor that wrote some of the songs on encore thats why its so shite. i cant believe this crap who cares im sure they wrote some songs and they made money off of it. but i remember a documnetary on tupac the guy wrote a song in 5 minutes and thats respect. ghostwriters exist but they want to be unknown so for all care it could be and old lady writing songs. dr. dre is a legend nas is a legend eminem is already a legend lets respect that there making good music.

wupac the guy wrote a song in 5 minutes

Biggie didnt write shit down, he went into the booth with just thoughts in his head. Jay does the same thing, since he obviously some-what bit Biggies style.

no poo, Dre is in no way responsible for Pac's success... most of the time that they was associated Pac hated him anyway!
